2023-24 Cornerstone Concert Series

We're so excited to announce our 2023-24 Cornerstone Concert Series with you! The season will feature three cornerstone performances:

- "Let Peace Abound" - a performance to help us find peace and hope in a tumultuous world. Featuring both RUC's Adult Chorus and Youth Chorus. Saturday November 18, 2023 at 7pm and Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 4pm. Venue to be announced.

- "The Unarmed Child" by Michael Bussewitz-Quarm - a large-scale work standing against gun violence toward children. This program is being presented in its newly-composed chamber form, and it will feature RUC's Adult Chorus along with original choreography and dancers from Metuchen Dance Centre. Saturday March 9, 2024 at 7pm at Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church in Plainfield, NJ.​

- "We All Belong" - a concert that examines our place in the world to help us find our purpose through music. Featuring both RUC's Adult Chorus and Youth Chorus. Saturday & Sunday, June 8 & 9, 2024. First Presbyterian Church in Metuchen, NJ. other events and performances throughout our Community, including:

- a YogaVoice Workshop on September 30, 2023 (Adult Chorus)

- Christmas Tree and Menorah lighting in November, 2023 (Youth Chorus)

- Christmas Caroling throughout Downtown Metuchen in December, 2023 (entire Community!)

- a Cabaret Performance on January 27, 2024 (entire Community!)

- an RUC hosted Children's and Youth Chorus Festival in March, 2024 (Youth Chorus)

- a performance with Music in the Parks at Dorney Park in May, 2024 (Youth Chorus)

- Memorial Day Ceremony in May, 2024 (entire Community!)

- singing the National Anthem at a Somerset Patriots game in June (entire Community!)

- our first international choral tour to Spain in June/July, 2024 (Adult Chorus)

We will also be bringing back our Outreach program with free public performances at various centers and venues throughout Central NJ!
