Matthew Mallick

Matthew is a vocal musician and educator that strives to connect every person to a community through music. Receiving his Bachelor of Music from Rutgers University, Matthew sang with the Rutgers University Glee Club and Kirkpatrick Choir, in which he toured and performed at several prestigious locations and venues including the Vatican, Carnegie Hall, and the Prudential Center with the timeless rock band the 'Eagles.' Matthew Previously taught at Madison Public Schools, where he directed 6th, 7th, and 8th grade chorus, and helped build up a program with improved curriculum, updated resources, and a stronger community. Matthew is currently the Choir Director and Cantor for St. John the Baptist's Russian Orthodox Church in Rahway, NJ, where he conducts SATB Russian Orthodox Repertoire. In addition, Matthew is a traveling musician, singing at Churches and other Venues from Philadelphia to New York City. Matthew enjoyed singing James Whitbourn's 'Annelies' with Rise Up Chorus in 2023, and is beyond thrilled to be on board for the 2025-2026 season!
