Ticket Policy
In order to allow for full transparency to our Community, Rise Up Community Arts, Inc. (“RUCA”) has developed the following ticketing policy. We believe that the policy, set forth below, is a fair and equitable policy to ensure the sustainability of RUCA as well as to develop future audiences.
Tiered Ticketing
RUCA uses a tiered approach to our ticket pricing in three categories: Adult pricing, Senior pricing, and Student pricing.
-
“Adults” category is defined as including persons 18 through 64 years of age
-
“Seniors” category is defined as including persons 65 years of age and older
-
“Students” category is defined as including persons 17 years of age and younger.
Adult pricing is the standard rate of attending a concert. Most attendees will fall into this category.
We believe that it is important to honor those who have supported arts education and performance for several decades by showing our gratitude for their years of supporting performances by many organizations and individuals. As such, we offer discount pricing to Seniors to the majority of our performances.
We also believe that it is important to educate the young of our Community and build future generations of concert-goers and music lovers. In response to this, we are committed to providing students 17 years of age and younger free admission to all of our performances. The exception to this is any performance that includes food or some other special feature; in this case, tickets will be discounted from the Adult price.
Ticket Types
In addition to the tiered ticketing, above, there are also three categories that each ticket tier can fall into: Early Bird Discount Admission, General Admission, and Day Of Sales.
-
“Early Bird Discount Admission” is defined as a discounted ticket price. This ticket is purchased online through our website during the period of time the ticket becomes available until 11:59pm two weeks and one day prior to the event. As a token of our appreciation to our Community, RUCA will absorb any ticketing and credit card processing fees associated with the online transaction.
-
“General Admission” is defined as our full price ticket. This ticket is purchased online through our website during the period of time that is two weeks prior to the event, ending at 11:59pm the evening before an event. As a token of our appreciation to our Community, RUCA will absorb any ticketing and credit card processing fees associated with the online transaction.
-
“Day Of Sales” is defined as a full-price ticket that is purchased on the day of the performance either online through our website or in person at our box office at the event. The box office opens one hour prior to the event. All associated ticketing fees, including credit card processing fees, are passed on to the purchaser if paying by credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. However, no processing or administrative fees will be charged if paid by cash at the door.
Cancellations, Exchanges, Transfers, and Refunds
-
All sales are final.
-
No refunds will be given for any reason for a non-attended event.
-
Tickets for one event may not be exchanged for another event.
-
If RUCA must cancel an event for any reason,
-
all purchased tickets will be fully refunded, or
-
you will have the option to exchange that ticket for another equally-priced RUCA event using a unique coupon code, or
-
you will have the option to apply the purchase price of that ticket toward a higher-priced RUCA event using a unique coupon code.
-
Group Sales
Groups of 15 or more will receive tickets at the senior rate regardless of age (with the exception of those who fall into the “Students” category who will continue to receive the appropriate student discount). Please contact Angela Dohl, Director of Operations, at adohl@riseuparts.org to arrange a group sale.
General Seating vs. Phoenix VIP Seating
-
Seating is general seating.
-
Seats will be distributed by our ushers on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
Ushers will seat the audience based on best available seating in the order that they arrive.
-
If there is a particular house seat that you prefer, please inform an usher upon arrival, and they will bring you to that seat if it is available.
-
-
Donors who receive free tickets based on their donor level or category as well as those who purchase a Phoenix Bronze, Phoenix Silver, or Phoenix Gold Subscription Plan will receive “Phoenix VIP Seating”. Phoenix VIP Seating is reserved seating toward the front of the event venue.
-
To claim your Phoenix VIP Seating, simply present the confirmation of your Phoenix VIP Seating to an usher upon arrival, and they will guide you to your seat(s).
-
