Angela Dohl
Director of Operations
Angela Dohl has been singing and dancing for as long as she can remember and has been singing alto with Rise Up Chorus since its inception in 2017. She has been a church musician for over 50 years and currently sings with the Adult Choir at The Church of the Sacred Heart in South Plainfield.
Angela is also a local community theater performer having appeared at Playhouse 22, Plays-In-The-Park, The Forum Theater, Villagers Theater, Circle Players, Somerset Valley Playhouse, Edison Valley Playhouse, and Stagecrafters. Her theater experience also includes producing, stage management, lighting design, and just about every other theater job you can imagine (and some you can’t!). Angela currently serves as treasurer of the Board of Directors of Playhouse 22 and is the recipient of the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters (NJACT) 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award.
A prime example of right brain/left brain, Angela earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and has her own environmental consulting business, specializing in environmental remediation and superfund cleanups. Angela & her husband are the proud parents of four boys and doting grandparents to one adorable granddaughter.
